Venezia getting ready for Christmas

Walking around Venice in the days before Christmas is wonderful. The usual turists crowd is gone, the city is quite, relaxing and beautiful. But what is special about this period, it is the atmosphere all around, everybody is getting everything they need to prepare the best meals of the year. Shortly after my walk, people will be home cooking the traditional dishes for the traditional families reunions and you could fell all the excitments of those days by just being there.

My new Canon EOS 50D

This year is came to visit me a bit earlier and he brought the new Canon EOS 50D since I've been such a good boy this year.
I didn't have much time to really enjoy the new gear, I just managed a short walk around to start familiarizing with it.
It is too early to have a real opinion but for sure the 50D is far much better than my EOS 400D.
I read many critics on 50D, I will see in few weeks if I will agree or not. So far it doesn't look as bad as reported on the web.
